Old style wreath with 1/X CAL.GOLD * inside. Seen paired with denominated coin obverse (BG933, BG854, & BG788) or built up from the same device as seen on California Jewelry Co pieces. Apparently made by California Jewelry Co., or their successors.

In the August 13, 1983 Numismatic News, Jay Roe advertised the following pieces that are not on this list
1876 Octagonal 1/4 Indian head
