1853 Liberty #1, 13 stars coronet point at edge of star. Small letters reverse with 3 berries left.
Seen in early die state and light weight with brassy appearance, intermediate die state with a few light cracks, heavy but thick and apparently gilt with copper showing on the edge and late die state (multiple cracks and heavily abraided) with double the weight but the same dimensions and bright gold color.
Intermediate die state illustrated. 10.5 x 0.65mm, 0.43 grams

1853 Liberty #2 13 stars unusual, crude head. Heavy enough to probably be solid 10-14K gold. Small letters, 1 berry left, 0 berries right.

1853 Liberty #4 13 stars head style of Bear 12, reverse differs from others+ 8*

1853 Liberty #5 13 stars coronet point centered with a star

1853 Liberty #6 13 stars coronet just left of a star, apparently the same as #1. Reverse extremely similar to #1, but lettering larger & 2 berries at left. Apparently a thin but pure gold plating over brass. The obverse is in a later die state than #1.

1853 Liberty #7 13 stars, head similar to that seen on some of the Bear10 pieces. Reverse of #6 with large letters and 2 berries left. The illustrated piece is a greenish-brass composition.

1853 Indian #1 13 stars+(2) **** *****. Large letters reverse with 2 berries left of Liberty numbers 6 and 7.
